Bio

​

Martin was raised in Montreal, Canada and majored in film production at Concordia University.  In Toronto he became an assistant editor on a syndicated TV series that would eventually lead him to LA and become an editor.

 

Aside from scripted TV series, he edited several 

indie features such as the rom-com LOVE & SEX with Jon Favreau which was an entry at Sundance. As well as LOOK which won the Cine Vegas award and BRIAR PATCH that was an entry at Slam Dance.

Later Martin branched out into documentaries, editing SLASHER for John Landis, as well as reality series and short format promos, sizzles and trailers. 

​

As much as Martin cherishes editing, it pales in comparison to the love he has for his daughter Mihret.
